Directions
For iPhone or iPad users:
1. Download the digital map file (.tdmb) onto your computer.
2. Install one of our apps, if you haven’t already: Trimble GPS Hunt (iPhone), Trimble GPS Fish (iPhone) or Trimble GPS Maps (iPad).
3. Connect your device to your computer.
4. Launch iTunes.
5. Select your device in the Devices list on the left side of iTunes.
6. Select the Apps tab on top of the iTunes screen.
7. Scroll down to the File Sharing section.
8. From the Apps list, select the app. For example: “GPS Hunt” (iPhone) or “GPS Maps” (iPad).
9. Now on the right side, in the Documents section, click the Add button.
10. Browse to the saved the map file and select it. Let the map bundle load in.
11. Disconnect device from computer.
12. Launch app. Go to Offline Maps. See your map bundle load into the app. You can view these offline maps from the main Map screen. Maps are stored on your device. You are ready to explore the outdoors.
 
For Android device users:
1. Download the digital map file (.tdmb) onto your computer.
2. Install one of our apps, if you haven’t already: Trimble GPS Hunt or Trimble GPS Fish.
3. Plug your Android phone into your computer. Follow instructions on the Android device to enable you to mount the memory (SD) card to be visible on your computer.
4. Create a folder called “TrimbleMapBundles” on your device’s memory card. Some Android devices have two memory cards, you only need to install the folder on one of them.
5. Drag-and-drop the map bundle (e.g: Yosemite-Topo-9-15.tdmb) into the TrimbleMapBundles folder. Note: Legacy users may see a folder called “TrimbleUserMaps”. Do not put these map files in that folder.
6. Disconnect device from computer.
7. Launch app. Go to Offline Maps. See your map bundle load into the app. You can view these offline maps from the main Map screen. Maps are stored on your device. You are ready to explore the outdoors.
